Our Community
Find your family inside the red door
Big and Tiny 10th Street Preschool is much more than just a school, we are a vibrant community where the 'big' and the 'tiny' come together in a shared journey of learning, love, and connection. We believe childhood is not only about growing up but about growing together. Here, parents are more than observers; they are active participants, mentors, and lifelong partners in their child’s education. We understand that raising and educating children is a journey best traveled together. From the moment parents step through The Red Door in the morning, they become an essential part of our community.
The connections we build go beyond the classroom. Families join us for cherished traditions like Snack and Story, celebrate milestones at holiday events, and engage in meaningful discussions during our monthly book club. Club 10 and Club 21 is our very own version of "happy hour" where parents and teachers can come together outside of school. Our Dad Band provides the opportunity to unite through music. All of these experiences foster friendships that last a lifetime.
Our unique environment includes a co-working area where parents can work, knowing their children are just steps away, learning and growing in a supportive atmosphere.
We understand that separation can be challenging, and we prioritize supporting families through that transition. We work closely with parents to ensure children feel safe, loved, and confident as they take their first steps toward independence. Learning doesn’t end at school—it continues at home. We partner with families to provide the tools, resources, and guidance to extend their child’s education beyond the classroom.
Our mixed-age structure allows every teacher and staff member to truly get to know each child—and their entire family. Our educators are more than teachers; they are lifelong partners in your child’s learning journey. Here, children stay with the same group of peers and educators for four years, creating a deep sense of trust, security, and belonging. This continuity helps children form lasting friendships and meaningful relationships that extend well beyond preschool.
At Big and Tiny 10th St., every family is an integral part of a larger story—one of love, learning, and shared experiences. We don’t just educate children; we build a village that supports them, their families, and their futures.
